Massive, globular or elongated-globular sponges of about 0.8 to 2.5 cm. One or several large oscular openings of about 1.5 to 3 mm. | Yellow | white | One to several | Smaller triactines, equiangular and equiradiate and tetractines, which lie woiht thir basal wall tangentially to canal walls, with their apicla actine protude into the canal. | Large cortical triactines and smaller cortical triactines of size and shape of coanosomal triactines. | Large cortical triactines: equiangular, equiradiate, with conical, sharp-tipped actines (actines: 279 - 373.9 - 481?m x 26 - 39.3 - 48 (n=5). Smaller cortical triactines of size and shape of choanosomal triactines, which are equiangular and equiradiate, with conical, sharp-tipped actines: 81 - 143.6 - 190 ?m x 9 - 15.2 - 22?m (n=23).
