The articulated choanoskeleton is made up by numerous rows of sagittal triactines. The atrial skeleton contains tetractines with the apical ray protruding to the atrium and triactines, which may have a very long unpaired actine (more than four times the size of the paired actines). The osulum has a fringe of trichoxea. |
The cortex contains longitudinal giant diactines (up to four in a row). |
