Encrusting mat, could be mistaken for an ascidian. | Greyish beige, grey in ethanol. | Relatively small, scattered over surface. OSTIA: Small, in linear arrangements on surface. | Flexible, easily torn. | Opaque, membranous, Even, unornamented. | Ascending plumose tracts of strongyles and styles surrounded by pigment granules. Moderately heavy collagen in mesohyl. | Thick layer of pigment granules obscuring all structure. | Styles Strongyles | nil. |
